When Kharma came to WWE in the spring of 2011, it looked as if she would be an indomitable force in the Divas division. She attacked Maryse, Michelle McCool, Eve Torres, and Layla with her signature move known as the Implant Buster. Kharma’s size showed her to be literally head and shoulders over many of the Divas, and she outweighed and out-muscled them by rather a lot. Her presence proved to be as intimidating as her physical force.
However, in May, Kharma announced on Raw that she was pregnant, and would have to leave WWE for at least nine months, as she could not possibly wrestle in her condition. But Kharma will likely return to WWE after her child is born, and will be eager to reassert her dominance over the Divas division. In fact, Kharma posted a video in December 2011, hinting she would return at WrestleMania 28. When she returns, whom will she feud with?
Kharma vs. The Bella Twins
While Kharma temporarily said goodbye to the WWE Universe, Nikki and Brie Bella came to the ring and mocked her. They insulted her ability to find a romantic partner and even insulted her baby. Kharma lunged at them and they ran off, but Kharma promised when she returned to WWE, she would have a new dream other than motherhood.
Her statement implied she wished to get revenge on the Bellas. This feud would make the most sense, at least in terms of Kharma’s last words before she left. Although unless both Brie and Nikki fought her at once, it’s doubtful the fans would see the Bella Twins as a credible threat to Kharma.
Kharma vs. The Divas of Doom
Although Kharma would fit in quite well with the no-nonsense Divas of Doom, which consists of some of the toughest Divas in WWE, she could also feud with them. Kharma is such a large, strong force that it would be difficult to see some of the tiny, skinny Divas as a credible threat to her. Beth Phoenix or Natalya Neidhart would be a better fit as foes. Ryan Clark noted that Phoenix and Neidhart had both claimed on their Twitter accounts that they could beat Kharma, and weren’t afraid of her.
Kharma vs. Eve Torres
As Eve Torres was one of the Divas Kharma attacked during her brief reign of dominance, she would understandably want revenge against her attacker. Eve has proven herself as WWE Divas Champion in the past, and is a good, innovative wrestler who can perform an impressive moonsault. She shows off enough athletic ability and muscle, and her training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu won’t hurt her chances in a fight, either.
With several Divas having quit or been fired in the past several months, there are not as many options for Kharma to choose from, unless WWE brings on more wrestlers from their developmental facilities or elsewhere in the coming months. But even so, Kharma is sure to be a dominant force in the division, regardless of which Divas she feuds with. She is one of the most powerful, intimidating and successful athletes in professional wrestling’s recent history. She could well be WWE Divas’ Champion one day.
